How does bidding for a rank work?

Every listing on Rankbids holds its position with a one-time payment. The board is ordered by what each listing paid, highest first. To take a spot, you pay $1 more than whoever currently holds it. Your rank then holds until someone pays more than you.

What does it cost to get listed?

The minimum bid is $5. That is enough to appear on the board — it just lands you at whatever position $5 earns in that category. Paying less than the current #1 does not mean your bid is rejected; it means you rank lower.

Is this a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. Every bid is a single payment processed by Stripe. There is nothing to cancel and nothing recurring. You only pay again if you want to raise your bid.

What can I submit?

Any public link: a product website, an X profile, a GitHub repository, a Shopify store, an App Store or Play Store listing, a Substack, or a personal portfolio. We read the page for its title, description and icon so your listing fills itself in.

What happens if someone outbids me?

You move down the board, but your listing stays live at its new position. Nothing is deleted and no refund is issued — you keep the placement you paid for, just below the person who paid more. You can raise your bid at any time to climb back.

How is 'Today' different from 'All-time'?

Accepted Answer

All-time ranks every active listing by its standing bid. Today only ranks listings that received a paid bid in the last 24 hours, so a smaller bid placed this morning can lead the daily board even while larger all-time bids sit above it overall.
